and I believe that gardens and farms provide solutions the world needs.

Life thrives through good design and using creative farming and gardening methods, both in small and big spaces. That is why I am dedicated to contribute to the creation and maintenance of farms and gardens. With almost 10 years of experience in gardening, farming and teaching, I have gained a solid foundation of skills and knowledge to make gardens more beautiful, productive and sustainable. Moreover, working on dozens of projects throughout the Netherlands, Asia and Australia, has made me a confident team player who can work with a variety of personalities in different cultural contexts.

Sustainable farming

Farming is often seen as a boring and low-status job but a well-designed farm can produce nutritious food and provide people with a livelihood they can be proud of. Moreover, by using sustainable farming methods, we can restore our degraded ecosystems and rebuild our soils.

Gardening

Small places provide big opportunities. Gardens are not just beautiful, they are hotspots of life thriving because of thoughtful design and maintenance. As an extension to a home, I aspire to get people at ease and inspired in their garden.

Teaching English

By using materials that are based on real-life situations, I create lessons that are fun and engaging. In my classroom mistakes are welcomed because they are a necessary step in the learning process. In this way I try to make students comfortable in using English both inside and outside the classroom.
