Hi, my name is Dino
and I believe that gardens and farms provide solutions the world needs.

Life thrives through good design and using creative farming and gardening methods, both in small and big spaces. That is why I am dedicated to contribute to the creation and maintenance of farms and gardens. With almost 10 years of experience in gardening, farming and teaching, I have gained a solid foundation of skills and knowledge to make gardens more beautiful, productive and sustainable. Moreover, working on dozens of projects throughout the Netherlands, Asia and Australia, has made me a confident team player who can work with a variety of personalities in different cultural contexts.
Do you have a garden, farm or other green project where I can make a difference? Let's connect!
I make the urban environment greener for its citizens and the natural environment.

Through my own gardening company, Dino Johannes Groen, I strive to let people experience their garden not only as an extension of their house but as a source of life itself. By integrating the right plants and using thoughtful work methods for maintenance, tiny and big gardens will become biodiversity hotspots, above and below the soil with birds, butterflies, bees, worms, etc.

Over the years the years I have worked at small and larger landscaping companies, using both conventional and more ecological ways of gardening. I am convinced that there is a middle way that is practical, efficient and still provides all the benefits for biodiversity, water retention, etc. I am available to work together with other professional and landscaping/gardening companies to make our urban environment greener and full of life.

I travel to make an impact...

every year during the months of November until March. Besides sightseeing, I try to contribute to projects that make a big impact. These last ten years, I was able to farm, garden and teach English throughout Asia and Australia. As I got involved with local communities, I met many people who have made a big impact on me. There is still a lot of important work to be done and much to learn. I am looking to more 'impact travel' this year in countries such as Indonesia.
